| Scope: |
- Update the county's Facility Master Plan and provide specific recommendations for project delivery implementation strategies, detailed budget development, phasing recommendations and financing strategies
- The major components addressed by the Facility Master Plan include consolidation of general county government offices in downtown York through renovation and expansion of historically-significant government buildings and the development of a new county administration building
- Conversion of the existing county office complex into a centralized location for state agency facilities and expansion of Family Court
- Near-term upgrades to security systems at the county detention center and county prison and expansion of these facilities by 225% over a 15 year implementation period
- Expansion of the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Center
- Consolidation of all equipment and building maintenance operations at a Public Works ìcampusî
- Implementation of a Customer Service Center strategy in multiple locations across the county to provide a ìone-stop-shopî for routine county services
- Development of an Eastern York Justice Center to provide consolidation of the Rock Hill City Jail into a short-term Sheriff's booking/hold center in the eastern part of the county (including eva
luation of alternative sites, program and implementation strategies)
