Qualifications
Dave has over 25 years experience in all aspects of commercial construction project delivery as a development manager, program manager and construction manager for hospitality and corporate facility development projects for both public and private clients and in public/private joint ventures.
Most recently, Dave has served as the Owner's development manager for the development of a new corporate headquarters for CarMax in Richmond, VA where he assisted in site evaluation and selection, architect and other professional service selection and management, construction delivery system recommendation and selection and on-going construction management administration services. He assisted York County, SC in the development of its $155M strategic County facilities master plan to be implemented over the next 15 years, including leading a team in site and facility evaluation, planning option development, financing alternatives, migration strategies and project budgeting and scheduling. Dave has similarly guided professional teams in the design and construction of a 1.4M SF corporate campus for Capital One in Richmond, Virginia.
For 10 years prior to his program management experience, Dave headed Hardin Interior Services providing interior construction expertise to a customer base throughout the Southeast. In addition to individual project services for customers such as Arthur Andersen, Canada Life, Travelers, Equifax, AFC Enterprises, Hyatt Hotels and others, Dave served as Account Executive for a 9-year "on-call" construction program with IBM as a fully-integrated team member of outsourced professionals meeting all of IBM's
real estate, design and construction needs in the Southeast and for a renovation and expansion of the entire Georgia-Pacific urban campus in downtown Atlanta. His experience also includes significant work in furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E) procurement management and in development
