Qualifications
Mr. Radcliff has been engaged in the design, construction and project management of hotels and restaurants since 1975. Upon earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with the School of Architecture at Ohio University, Rod, began his career in architecture with several design and consulting firms. Beginning in 1979, Rod joined Nestle U.S.A.'s hospitality group, Stouffer Hotels and Resorts. From 1979 to 1983 Mr. Radcliff served in Stouffer's design, technical service and project management department. Rod directed the design and construction efforts for various new hotels and restaurants, as well as numerous renovations, specializing in writing hotel standards specifications and creating standard project scheduling formats.
Beginning in 1984, Mr. Radcliff joined Stouffer's development department as Director of Project Management. In addition to substantial contributions in creating standard contract forms for the hotel chain, Rod's duties included overall project responsibility for new hotel construction in various locations throughout the U.S.A.
Mr. Radcliff has also worked with the Marcus Corporation as Director of Construction. In this role, Rod directed the creation of a new hotel prototype design. Rod has also served as Director of Technical Services and Project Management for W.L. Thompson, Inc., projects included several international luxury hotels. During his career, Rod has been directly involved in the development of hotels totaling over 13,000 rooms.
Rod has served as Senior Vice President with Hardin Capital, overseeing the design and construction of their hotel development portfolio. In addition to hotel projects, Rod has also directed condominium and luxury spa projects. Mr. Radcliff is currently responsible for design management
and development related services for Advent's hospitality projects.
