Qualifications
Tim came to Adventpds with twenty six years of diverse experience in construction and facility management including 17 years in the hotel industry. As Vice President Design and Construction, Tim is responsible for design and construction services related to hospitality projects. Tim had previously served in a similar capacity with Hardin from 1997 to 2003 as Vice President Design and Construction. He worked on several projects for Hardin including the $61,000,000 Hotel Marlowe, a Kimpton Hotel in Cambridge Massachusetts and the $60 million Hilton Garden Inn in The River North area of downtown Chicago. The Hilton project was a complex mixed use 23 story, 357 key hotel on top of a 1000 car parking garage.
Tim came to Adventpds from Strategic Hotels & Resorts where he served as Vice President, Capital Projects and was responsible for major expansions and upgrades throughout Strategic's portfolio. His significant projects at Strategic included expansion of the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico, adding a 24 key building with river pool, beach side restaurant, 8,000 square feet of luxury retail, and 2 ultra luxury 10,000 square feet beach front suites. Additionally, Tim planned and implemented the construction of a Gerber Bar and Michael Mina restaurant at the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Prior to Strategic Tim was Vice President of Construction for Pyramid Advisors responsible for renovation and conversion of existing hotels to major brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Crown Plaza, and Doubletree. Tim was also involved in the completion and opening of the $100 million Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago. The Hard Rock project was an adaptive reuse of an historic office tower along Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago.
From 1990 to 1997 Tim was with Hyatt Hotels Corporation where he was responsible for project management of many renovations, engineering capital improvements and purchasing. He was also responsible for providing technical services to Owner's on new hotel developments.
