Tom is experienced in managing large multimillion dollar commercial construction projects including new construction and renovations. While his focus has been in the hotel industry, he has been involved in major new construction and renovation of retail, restaurants, and office and professional buildings. Tom possesses the proven ability to hire and coordinate the work of design and construction professionals from project concept through completions.

Tom founded Capex, a third-party firm created to work with hotel ownership groups, providing market research and analysis, international business management, design, development, and construction. Projects have included both new construction and extensive renovations with minimum downtime, and mid-project takeovers.

Thoroughly knowledgeable of all aspects of project management including concept and scope definition, budgeting design, requests for proposals, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, regulatory approval, and construction oversight, Tom has earned a reputation for bringing complex projects to completion on time and within budget.
